I love rustic DIY weddings, I love jam jars filled with wildflowers and hessian covered chairs. I love bunting and fairy lights and brightly coloured confetti ……. but mainly I love to capture all the REAL moments – the belly laughs and the tears. All the ‘behind the scenes’ moments that tell the true story of your day. You won’t look back on your photographs and think ‘Oh that was the moment the photographer told us to do this’, you’ll look back and see genuine memories. I want you to have FUN on your wedding day, not spend it standing around posing. Yes I like to create artistic images too, and I’ll strive to capture all of those spontaneous moments in the most beautiful way possible. And I’ll most likely create some well arty bride and groom portraits. But most of all… I like to keep it real.
I am influenced by fine art and vintage photography, which I incorporate subtly in my shooting and editing style. I love shooting all kinds of weddings, but my absolute favourites are those which are alternative and non traditional; weddings that are true to you as a couple, with all your own attitude and quirkiness. You are not the same as every other couple, so why should your wedding be? Go on, make it unique!
I have been lucky enough to have photographed weddings in some of the most gorgeous venues across the Northwest, from rustic barns and farms to stunning country manors and castles! I cover Cheshire, Merseyside and anywhere else in the UK or abroad.
